Today was the release of the annual Hwa Chong Projects Day Semi-Finals results. To think, I was so nervous that my heart was beating very fast upon clicking onto the links on the message announcing the results posted on the Electronic Message Board. A shocking feeling overcame me when I scrolled down and noticed that many groups had failed and not made it to the semi-finals. Suddenly, I came to my group on the list and upon realising that my group successfully made it into the Finals round, I jumped with joy! My group had scored a whopping 25 points, the 3rd highest in my category! Feeling pleased, I told this immediately to my group members, and my, were they delighted. We were all celebrating this achievement, and felt exuberant over this feat. We will do our best and try to get a high score in the upcoming Finals round, which falls on the 19th of August.
